About Us
This homepage began as an initiative of the Swedish organisation
Nature and Youth (Fältbiologerna).
Nature and Youth is an independent organisation founded in 1947 working
towards a sustainable society, global justice and a good environment.
The international part of this homepage is made possible through the help
of a loose network of individuals coming mainly from Europe. All of us believe
that organic and fair trade labeling is of great importance. However, this
labeling has to be made seriously if its credibility is to be upheld. This
is the reason why we are concerned about the sales and false marketing of
so called “organic” scampi or “organic” prawn. It
risks legitimising a product with one of the highest costs to people and
environment.
